Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. About the service

Redneck Darts is a personal, free and non-commercial match-booking service operated by Ian Harford. It allows darts players to request an available time for an online match with Ian.

The public booking service does not provide user accounts. The Login control is reserved for Ian's private administration area.

2. Making a booking

To book a match, you must:

  • choose the correct league or competition;
  • choose an available date and time;
  • provide your real name;
  • provide the correct Scolia or DartConnect username; and
  • provide a Scolia ID where it is requested or useful for the match.

A booking is confirmed only when the website displays a successful confirmation. Submitting the form does not guarantee a booking if the selected time has already been taken or if the calendar service is unavailable.

No payment is taken through this website.

3. Match arrangements

You are responsible for having the equipment, accounts and internet connection needed to play the match on the selected platform.

Competition formats and platform requirements are shown for convenience. The rules and decisions of the relevant league, competition, Scolia or DartConnect remain separate from these terms.

Please be ready at the booked time. If either player cannot play because of illness, technical failure, league requirements or another reasonable cause, the match may need to be rearranged.

4. Changes and cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a match, contact Ian Harford as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details provided after booking.

Deleting a downloaded calendar entry from your own device does not cancel the booking.

Ian may cancel or rearrange a match where reasonably necessary, including because of illness, technical problems, calendar errors, league requirements or misuse of the booking service.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • submit false or misleading booking details;
  • book times you do not intend to use;
  • make repeated or automated booking requests;
  • interfere with the website, its security or another person's booking; or
  • use the service for an unlawful purpose.

Bookings may be cancelled or blocked where the service is misused.

6. Availability of the service

The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. It may be changed, suspended or unavailable without notice because of maintenance, faults, third-party services or other circumstances outside Ian's reasonable control.

Nothing on the website guarantees that every displayed time will remain available until the booking has been confirmed.

7. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, Ian is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by third-party platforms, internet or equipment failure, or a match that cannot proceed for reasons outside his reasonable control.

This is a free private booking service. These terms do not affect any statutory rights that apply to you.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what booking information is collected and how it is used.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated if the service changes. The version in force when a booking is made will apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed with the player.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.

Please contact Ian first if you have a concern so there is an opportunity to resolve it informally.

11. Contact
